Cycling through many villages in many provinces from Sai Gon to Hoi An is the best way to evident beautiful landscap of forest, beaches, islands and the real daily life of locals on the ways. Hoi An is a beautiful, ancient Vietnamese town, it is located on the banks of Thu Bon river near the sea. It retains its centuries old Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and European architecture with its narrow streets and low, tiled roof houses. The influences are from Japanese, Portuguese, Dutch and Vietnamese. In the 17th-19th centuries, Hoi An was one of the most important posts in Southeast Asia, and wasn't eclipsed by Da Nang until the end of 19th century, when Thu Bon river had silted up to such a degree that major commerce by navigation became problematic as the water became too shallow.
From the 2nd-10th centuries, Hoi An was one of the principal cities in the Champa Kingdom
. Archeologists have discovered the base of numerous Cham towers in this region. Its port was visited by sailors from the Midle East for provisioning. During its heyday, Indian, Dutch, Portuguese, French, Thailand, Indonesian, Spanish, American, Chinese, Filipino ships came to Hoi An to procure quality silk, sugar, fabrics, tea, ceramics, pepper, elephant tusks and slew of other goods. Today Hoi An is one of tourist places in particular in Vietnam, there are alot of things to see in Hoi An that have been deemed as historical structures. They include houses, shops, pagoda, tombs,...We can't possibly describe them all but here are a few worth visiting, especially if you have only got a day to spend in this town.

Da Lat was founded by Frenchman Andre Yersin, who convinced the French government to establish a hill station here in the late 1890s. During colonial times, the Frenchman of Sai Gon used DaLat as a summer resort to escape the intense heat of Sai Gon. Much of architecture is French.
