What bikers talk about us?

Have just returned from a 4 day tour on the Mekong delta. This tour was great in terms of the interaction with the landscape and people. Our guide was fantastic and put us at ease in every aspect. The cycling itself was sufficiently challenging but I am sure the guide would adjust for all levels if needed. We drank from freshly picked coconuts, cooked with a local family in their home stay, tried many local foods and met and spoke with many locals. The bikes were great, support from the van and driver who ferried our luggage was top notch and the organization and knowledge of our guide was excellent. Would recommend to anyone whether a regular or part time cyclists (- Thomas, Australia -)

As a small group we rode North from Saigon, via the highlands around Da Lat and then up the coast to finish in Hue. Our guide and local mentor was a star - good english, knowledgeable, entertaining, and careful, everything one would want from a guide. The route was carefully chosen for variety, quiet roads, and an opportunity to see and appreciate this interesting country. The bikes were shiny new and well suited to the terrain, and those of us who used e.bikes were pleasantly surprised by the easy handling and enhanced enjoyment that the power support provided, highly recommended for those who have any doubts about their cycling fitness or want a more relaxed experience. Accommodation along the way had been carefully selected and was always clean, comfortable, and well located. Having a support vehicle to move luggage, carry snacks and spares , and provide transport through the few sectors with heavy traffic, or to reach a more distant night stop than would be comfortably reached was a big plus. Loved it, and would / will return for another similar trip. Highly recommended. (- Cairns, Australia -)

I and my friends did a bike trip( 14 days) in Vietnam with Vietnam Bike Adventures in April 2018. We are so content and impressed with the professionalism and hospitality this tour company offered. Everything went out so perfectly that we just kept saying wow and wow. What we liked the most is all the hidden roads and tracks that we were taken to. They are so scenic and so unspoiled. Looks like we were the only people in those areas. We were really discovering Vietnam that most people couldn’t. If you would like to do bike tour, don’t miss the chance to be with this travel agent.(- Tony, USA -)

We booked a guided bicycle tour with Vietnam Biking Adventure and had an outstanding trip. Tom was our guide and he made sure that everything went without a hitch. He was very attentive to our questions and made sure that all aspects of the trip met our expectations- food, biking, accommodations, and hydration. Tom was our link to interacting with people and the culture of Vietnam. We often pulled to the side of road and interacted with people in their daily lives. It made me feel comfortable and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of this country. I highly recommend Tom as a guide. He has such an easy going nature and I appreciated his professionalism about his work.(- Aecsoldat, Lowa City, USA -)

It is early May in Vietnam and it’s hot and humid. Our guide Tom met us early in the foyer of our hotel Rex in Saigon. On time and ready to go. The next four days were spent with Tom and his driver Juanh literally having an adventure of a life time. Through the countryside seeing gaggles of geese and ducks an pigs on motorbikes, covering all sorts of terrain. I can not recommend this tour more highly enough. Our needs were looked after; food, snacks, water, great accommodation and most importantly, brand new trek mountain bikes and Tom’s commentary and genuine knowledge and love of the Mekong where he used to work as a farmer. I learnt so much from how the floating markets operated to the customs and ways of the people from this region. Tom also had the best sense of humour. Safety was paramount and we spent a few days without seeing another Westerner. I will be sure to recommend to my friends back in Australia and p,an to do another trip with Tom next time we return to Vietnam.(- Marryan, U.K -)

Our three-day, two night excursion gave us a good insight into the life and environment of the Mekong Delta. One night was at a home-stay with welcoming hosts, our own hut and two good meals, one of which we helped prepare. The second night was in a hotel. While seldom on busy roads, we had to remain alert to motor bikes using the same canal paths that we were on. We experienced a variety of environments from residential to farms along the many channels and canals of this region. Tom, our guide, offered good insights into the area, having grown up there, plus insights into Vietnamese life and culture. One highlight was a trip to the floating market on the Mekong River. We got in plenty of riding and exercise in this unique region and ended each day tired, but happy. We strongly recommend this tour, as it's a great way to actively explore this beautiful part of the country.(- Tucson, Australia -)
